OFFICIAL RULES
IMPORTANT: Please read these Official Rules before entering this Protecting Reproductive
Freedom MS Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”). By participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree to
be bound by these Official Rules and represent that you satisfy all of the eligibility requirements
below.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS
SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF
WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
This Sweepstakes is sponsored by Protecting Reproductive Freedom MS (“Sponsor”) located at 301 W
Capitol Street, Jackson, MS 39203.
Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open only to residents of Mississippi who are at least 18 years of age as
of November 5, 2024. To be eligible to win a prize, entries must be completed and received by Sponsor in
the format designated below. Directors, officers, and employees of Sponsor and any of its subsidiaries,
agents, professional advisors, consultants, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate family
members (spouse, parent, step-parent, child, step-child, sibling, step-sibling, and their respective
spouses), and persons living in the same household (whether related or not), of each are not eligible to
win a prize.
Promotion Period : The Sweepstakes starts at 12:00:01 EDT on July 24, 2024 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m.
EDT on October 21, 2024 (“Promotion Period”). All entries must be received during the Promotion Period
to be eligible to win a prize. How to enter: To enter, an eligible individual must complete a Sweepstakes
Entry Form with first and last name, street address, date of birth, and telephone number, and submit the
form to Sponsor’s representative in person during the Promotion Period. Failure to submit all required
information in the manner required in these Official Rules and/or the entry form may result in
disqualification. All entrants and entries are subject to verification by Sponsor. Limit: One entry per
person during the Promotion Period. Additional entries will be disqualified.
Winner Selection/Prize: The Sponsor will select twelve (12) winners of the Sweepstakes in two random
drawings from among all eligible entries. Drawings will take place the weeks of September 2nd and
October 21st. Each winner will receive a $250 Visa gift card. The winners will be notified by phone shortly
after each drawing, and the Visa gift card will be mailed to the address listed on the Sweepstakes Entry
Form. Approximate retail value of each prize: $250 (total $3,000). Odds of winning depend on the number
of eligible entries received. All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of the
prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. The prizes are not transferable, nor are there
substitutions or cash redemptions, except at Sponsor’s discretion if the prizes become unavailable.
General Terms and Conditions: The Sweepstakes and these Official Rules will be governed, construed
and interpreted under the laws of the state of Mississippi. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable
federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Any provision of these Official
Rules deemed unenforceable will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remainder of
these Official Rules will remain in effect. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
No mechanically reproduced entries or faxes will be accepted. The information the Sponsor collects from
entrants through the Sweepstakes will be used only for purposes of the Sweepstakes and purposes of a
research study relating to voter registration and voter turnout. Each entrant understands that this
Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed by, administered by, or associated with Visa. The
Sponsor and any of its related affiliates, directors, officers, consultants, professional advisors, employees,
and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) will not be responsible for: (a) late, lost, illegible,
incomplete, damaged, or misdirected entries; (b) any Sweepstakes disruptions, injuries, losses, or
damages caused by events beyond the control Sponsor or by non-authorized human intervention; or (c)
any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves
the right to change these Official Rules at any time, in its sole discretion, and to suspend or cancel the
Sweepstakes or any entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes should viruses, bugs, unauthorized human
intervention, or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control affect the administration, security, or proper play
of the Sweepstakes, or Sponsor otherwise becomes (as determined in its sole discretion) incapable of
running the Sweepstakes as planned. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you release Sponsor and all
Released Parties from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any
claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the
Sweepstakes or delivery, misdelivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use the prize
(including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries,
death, damage to or destruction of property, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory
of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory. Entrants who violate these Official Rules,
violate any law, rule, or regulation in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes, tamper with the
operation of the Sweepstakes, or engage in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to Sponsor, the
Sweepstakes, or any other entrant (in each case, as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion) are subject
to disqualification from entry into the Sweepstakes. By participating in this Sweepstakes, you certify that
you have complied with these Official Rules. For a copy of the winner list or these Official Rules, send a
written request with a stamped, self-addressed, business-size return envelope to: PO Box 33436,
Washington, DC 20033. By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the
decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.
